This is my first blog ever. I know this is not exciting to anyone else but it is pretty cool to me.
Ok - now what do I say? Not much for now - its probably sufficient that I just started this. Time will tell if it is interesting or not.
I am interested in a lot of different things - art, history, science and technology. I know how to say "I dont understand" in Russian, Cantonese, French and Spanish (American English is my native language). I think we live in a time in history that people in the future would love to visit - think of what it would be like to live in a time when computers were just invented. Of course when they got here they would freak out when they saw our TV. What the hell are these inane commercials? What is this erectile dysfunction they are all excited about?
I live out in the wilderness of New Jersey in the US (yes there wilderness in NJ). I can see the Milky Way at night - the crickets are quite loud in the summer. So far I have seen black bear, foxes, woodchucks (a family lives under our shed), deer (lots of those), snapping turtle, possum and raccoon. I like living out here - its far from any civilization - the restaurants are not very interesting but there is a great sense of peace out here. I take walks for a couple hours a day - cars rarely pass on the roads. I really dont understand how people can live so close to each other in cities. A friend of mine in California doesnt understand the appeal of being in such a backwater. The lack of restaurants, health food and workout gyms seems to be enough to question my judgment.
